Plate of Petals

Description

This 10.5″ ceramic plate has been brushed with a slurry of blue and white before painting a bold mix of gorgeous flowers in a clear glass vase.  This piece is the first of a set of 5 plates – each painted with a different background colour and unique floral arrangements. The plates have been painted for decoration only and my art has been sealed with a professional varnish.  Each plate is accompanied by a sturdy plant stand.  These plates are not intended for use with food.

I sold this piece so soon after it was completed, that I only have this one photo of it.  It was an immediate favourite!
