Description
“Winter’s Early Visit” is an Original Acrylic Painting on an 8″ x 10″ wrapped canvas. The painting is unframed as the artwork continues around the sides of the canvas. I painted this scene from one of my many photos of a city park near our home in Calgary, AB. Carburn Park is beautiful in every season and I have painted it from many angles. Here, the leaves were still on the trees in early October, when we received a light snowfall that didn’t stay long.
In the summer of 2021 I was affiliated with a local Virtual Market and the organizers were looking for donations from the participating vendors. They collected a basket full of various handmade items to be ribboned up and then donated as a prize for a Calgary Pride Week event!
My name is Jackie St Pierre and I am a self-taught independent Canadian artist. My interests lean toward floral and landscape paintings but I also have some interesting off canvas pieces. All pieces are original, acrylic hand painted art.
